Celery is one of those wonderful gifts via nature to the ailing humanity for food and healing, no stone was left unturned to provide for our well-being by our caring heavenly father, but unfortunately, our high level of ignorance deprives us of the many abundant blessings around us for the maintenance of health such as vegetables, fruits, roots, spices, rhizomes, oil fishes, animals, poultry, water, air and sunshine.

It is also interesting that generations born and unborn cannot exhaust the resources though they may be highly depleted, due to industry, greed, negligence, abuse, and population explosion.

The fact that we are provided for should excite our curiosity to learn of their usefulness, especially at this time that we don't have the luxury of varieties like our grandparents did, be assured that my blog will provide the missing link, as long as you stay in touch, to enjoy the various dishes, on our menu to be served on board.



Today's search light is beamed on" CELERY" a lowly vegetable, used in various cookings for its flavor.

It is a common vegetable easily cultivated even in containers, it is a sun-loving plant, sold by vegetable vendors, and grown mainly by market gardeners.it is grown by seed, and the top can be germinated in water, and planted in the soil when few leaves are out 

Celery has a lot to offer in maintaining good health and healing, its health benefits are attributed to its high content of phytonutrients:-
